Hoosier Mobilization Coalition

The Hoosier Mobilization Coalition is a progressive coalition dedicated to building a unified front of Indiana organizations. Our purpose is to coordinate, amplify, and resource mass mobilizations, rapid responses, and planned actions that defend democratic processes, protect civil rights, directly support those in need, and build lasting, community-led power in Indiana, ensuring all Hoosiers are engaged and empowered to shape their government.

  • We expect that the needs of the progressive community will evolve over time. The list below is not intended to be all inclusive. It is a starting point that is expected to expand and evolve as our work continues

    • Co-organizing Support

      • Help smaller groups plan and execute events

      • Assist with logistics: venue selection, public space regulations, police notifications (if requested by organizers of a specific action)

      • Provide experienced organizers to walk through event playbooks

      • Provide technical expertise

    • Community-wide Message Amplification

    • Support of of community wide Mobilizations and Rapid Response actions

      • Build community-wide security team available to all progressive events

      • Provide safety trainings for security volunteers

    • Mentoring for New Groups
