Free Rides - Boone County Early Voting

From our friends at Indivisible Boone Indiana.

The primary election is underway in Boone County. Registered voters are encouraged to vote early to avoid waiting in line. Boone County has new polling places this year, giving voters more options. Votes may be cast at any location in Boone County.

Indivisible Boone Indiana (IBI), is a non-partisan, non-profit group working to preserve, protect, and expand democracy. IBI is organizing ballot trains (carpool rides) using volunteers who are available to drive voters to a polling location. Voting is underway and volunteers are available to provide rides for early voting.

Note: IBI will be unable to provide rides on Election Day.

Helping someone to reach their polling location is the neighborly thing to do — and voting is the most important action for Americans to take.

Riders will be asked to sign a short statement of indemnification.

“I understand that this is a volunteer service provided without regard for my intention to vote for a particular party or candidate. By participating in this free voluntary service I agree to hold harmless the actions of the organizers and volunteers of IBI.”
