Language Skills
We’re seeking volunteers who fluently speak languages other than English to help our teams facilitate communications between detainees and attorneys, volunteers, and others.
Legal Aid
We are assisting detainees with pro se legal filings, and we are seeking volunteers to help with this process. No legal training needed - there will be training for people who are simply helping to fill out paperwork - but legal experience is always a bonus!
Social Media
We are seeking a volunteer who can post events, news, and requests for volunteers to the Indivisible Central Indiana social media accounts. Training is available and you will be working with a team on these tasks.
Web Content
We are seeking a writer who can assist with writing long-form content for our website and sometimes other venues. If this sounds interesting to you, contact us to join the team!
Financial Oversight
We are seeking one volunteer for this position; you will receive training on the financial tasks required. Experience is not necessary, but is always a plus. Much less scary than it sounds! (1 hour/month)
Fundraising
Do you have fundraising experience, in a volunteer capacity or as a part of your career? Are you familiar with grant applications? Indivisible Central Indiana wants you and your expertise! Contact us for more information.
Rapid Response
We’re seeking rapid response volunteers who can help organize timely responses to crises that pop up suddenly. This team has organized protests, congressional office visits, and media responses to many incidents over the past year and we’re looking to grow!.
